Roger made me a bespoke holder for my nunchaku, which I know took him out of his range of work he normally completes. However once I received it, it exceeded my expectations as somehow he has managed to make something new look like it was made many years ago as I asked him to. He even managed to add my club logo ‘sticks Europe’ to the holder which looks great.
Thank you Roger, a great job done.
Just received my two custom ordered sheathes for a set of spinners and some JT throwers. worked with roger to get the design and my name on them that I wanted and even the custom colour for the leather and they came out beautifully.
My mother passed away a couple of years ago and during the sort out of her house I came into possession of all my late fathers Scouting items from his time as a Scout through to his time as Scout Leader. Being a Scout Leader myself for the past 20 years you can image the delight I had in finding his 2 Scout belts that he wore when he was a Scout.
As you can imagine, they were in a very “used” condition being over 70 years old and it seemed a shame for them to continue to live in a box, unused and not serving the purpose they were made for. I thought how great it would be if I could wear one as part of my dress uniform so a part of my dad could be with me when I am doing something we both love. Unfortunately, I am a totally different build to my dad, and these belts were designed for a young person between 11 and 16 years of age so there was no way they would fit around my waist. This is where Roger comes into the story. I messaged him with what I needed to see if there was anything he could do. Well, I have to say he outdid himself this time. He took two tired leather belts and brought them back to life but maintained their “used” character, which was something Roger was adamant about as he knew the immense sentimental value they have to me. Then, he took one of them and added an extension to it, so it matched my current scout belt, enabling me to wear it. He matched the colour and blended it in so it looked like it was part of the original belt.
As you can imagine, I was delighted with what Roger has done with these belts. His knowledge and skill breathed new life into the belts, something I will be eternally grateful for and gave me an enormous sense of pride to wear one at our Remembrance Parade last year.
Thank you so much Roger.
All the best,
Gibbo
A few years ago I asked Roger if he could make a custom sheath for a hatchet I was refurbishing for my wife for her scouting camp tool kit. With the Angels holders, Roger has his own set that he will use to size and shape the sheaths but for this project he only had a drawing that I sent him. The finished article is perfect, fits the axe beautifully and brought a huge smile to my wife`s face upon being presented it by her family.
Great work Roger
Roger worked with me to make some basic axe masks for my Scout Group. I needed something to secure the axes, that wasn’t fancy and did the job at a relatively low cost.
Roger listed to my spec, offered suggestion, took deliver of one of the axes I needed a mask for a basically did everything I wanted him to.
I’ll definitely be ordering more from Roger, and would recommend him completely.
Thanks Roger!
Just received my sheath from Roger, beautiful work very pleased with it.
I am absolutely delighted with my double bit cover for my axe. It’s a perfect fit and the design I choose has come out perfectly. Already had a lot of people ask where I got it from and I highly recommend they see Roger xx
I had two bags that needed repairing . One was to secure a strap and the other was you put the bag logo back on .
Roger has done an amazing job thanks so much can’t wait to use them again
A thing of beauty is a joy forever!! What a great work you did...amazing creation ...dont hesitate to post that pic on your page amigo and lets have a beer next year
I asked Roger if he could mend two dog leather leads that had broken but still looked like they had some life in them!
The results are fantastic, they have both come back like new!
One of the leads was really badly worn in one particular place and near to snapping. I cannot even tell where this is on the lead now as Roger's repair is invisible!
They are both back in use and feel better than they ever have, so soft but strong.
Thank you Roger!
